Ekta Shekhar, Jailed Activist From UP Granted Bail, Meets Her Baby After 14 Days | Anti-CAA Protest

Environmental activist Ekta Shekhar from Varanasi finally met her toddler after 14 days. Ekta and her husband Ravi Shekhar were arrested during the anti-CAA protests in Varanasi on December 19. The couple has now been granted bail. While speaking to ANI, Ekta Shekhar said, “Was expecting a miracle to take place every day. I was telling everyone that I want to meet my daughter and to do anything to get me out of jail. These 14 days were really painful for me.”
