On September 20 morning, a herd of 17 elephants was spotted at the under-construction IIT campus in Palakkad Kerala. They were later herded back to the nearby forest. A Palakkad district forest officer told PTI that the elephants were guided into the forest with the help of firecrackers. The officer said that the incident took place for the first time. He added that no one was injured in the incident nor was any structure damaged. Watch the video to know more.
