Fake Ram Mandir Invite: Fraudsters Sending Whatsapp Message Offering Free VIP Entry Into Ram Temple To Scam Devotees

Preparations are going on in full swing for the Ram Mandir Inauguration on January 22. Several reports suggest that cyber criminals are sending WhatsApp messages to people promising free VIP access to the temple on January 22. The initial message includes an APK (Android Application Package) file labelled as ‘Ram Janmabhoomi Grihsampark Abhiyan.APK’. The second message encourages people to install this app in order to get VIP access and share it with others. This scam targets people who are eager to witness the grand event on January 22. Installing such apps can cause a lot of trouble and is a potential threat.
