Farmers’ Protest: Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra, Chitrangda Singh And Others Voice Support

Farmers have been protesting against the Central government’s farm laws for almost two weeks now. The protest has received wide-spread support from across Punjab and Haryana and now celebrities are lending their voice to the farmers’ cause. Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly donated Rs 1 crore in cash to help farmers' with winter clothes and was also at the protest site. Priyanka Chopra has called farmers “food soldiers” while actors Parineeti Chopra and Chitrangda Singh too have put out tweets in support of the farmers.
