A man was beaten brutally by locals over suspician of mobile theft in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The man was tied with rope hanging upside down from a tree. The locals blamed him for stealing mobile phone. The victim, Ruman said, “Locals took me in pretext of offering me job, but tied me and started assaulting instead.” He was beaten with ropes and sticks. Ruman has filed a FIR against three men. Video went viral and police assured that strong action will be taken.
