France Presidential Elections 2022: Emmanuel Macron Defeats Marine Le Pen To Win Second Term

On April 24, Emmanuel Macron, French President, won the re-election. 44-year-old President Macron defeated his rival Marine Le Pen. Emmanuel Macron is the first French president to win a second term for two decades, reported AFP. During his victory speech, Macron vowed to respond to the anger of those people who supported Le Pen, reported AFP.
