Ghaziabad: Cops Seen Beating Hijab-Wearing Women With Sticks, Inquiry Launched

A shocking video of police officials hitting Muslim women in burqa has gone viral on social media. The incident took place during a protest against the hijab ban in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. As the video went viral and criticism poured in for the police, an investigation into the matter was ordered. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed by the police against the protesters over the incident. The videos show that police officials use force to disperse the protesters.
