A muted Golden Globes, with no audience, and no live telecast, and no live streaming was held this year. The Golden Globes is being boycotted by a string of A-list Hollywood stars over issues of diversity. NBC cancelled its telecast of the awards night and there was no live streaming on YouTube either. Nevertheless, winners were announced and Will Smith won his first Golden Globe for Best Actor Drama (King Richard) and Nicole Kidman won her fifth Golden Globe for Best Actress Drama (Being The Ricardos). The Power Of The Dog won the two biggest awards - Best Film (Drama) and Jane Campion won the Best Director.
