The auspicious occasion of Sheetala Ashtami, also known as Basoda Puja is celebrated on Friday, March 25, 2022. On the festival day, families don't light the fire for cooking and consume cold food. As per the Hindu calendar, Sheetala Ashtami takes place in the month of Chaitra during Krishna Paksha on the day of Ashtami.
