Heatwave In India: IMD Forecasts Heat Wave Across Many Parts Of The Country In June

On May 27, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that a heatwave will sweep across most of the states in the country in June. The weather department added that above-normal heat wave days are likely over most parts of northwest India and adjoining areas of central India during the next month. IMD warned of heat-related illnesses and dehydration among the elderly and those with health conditions. IMD has advised people to stay hydrated, remain in an optimally cool environment, and avoid strenuous activities during peak heat hours. Watch the video to know more.
