A student was allegedly thrashed by a teacher for not doing Diwali homework in Rajasthan’s Barmer. The teacher allegedly thrashed the student with an iron pipe rod. According to the victim’s mother, the student didn’t go to school a day prior to Diwali when the homework was given by the teacher. After Diwali vacation, when the student went to school, the teacher thrashed the student for not doing homework. Police lodged a case against the teacher and investigation is underway.
