CryptoA Hyderabad traffic policeman was rewarded for going beyond the call of duty to assist in clearing a path for an ambulance. In a video, which was widely shared on social media, traffic constable G Babji can be seen running for almost two km, beyond his jurisdiction. He can be seen asking people to make way for the ambulance through the crowded road. The incident took place at Bank Street, Koti area, of Hyderabad on November 3. The effort of Babji, attached to Abids Traffic Police Station, was praised by motorists. Though caught in a traffic jam, they clapped for him. Many lauded the cop for swinging into action and making way for the ambulance. The constable said the appreciation he received from public gave him immense satisfaction. Babji’s motivational act was acknowledged and rewarded by the Hyderabad Police commissioner Anjani Kumar as well.
