India Foils Pakistan’s Large-Scale Drone & Missile Attack Targetting Military Stations, Reportedly Shoots Down 3 Pakistani Fighter Jets Including F-16

The Indian armed forces successfully foiled a large-scale drone and missile attack launched by Pakistan on the intervening night of May 08-09. Pakistani forced attempted to target military stations at Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur. However, the strike was neutralised using "kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities", India's Ministry of Defence said. The attempted strike by Pakistan triggered blackouts as well as sirens across several areas in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan. As a precautionary measure, the IPL match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala was also called off midway. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Foreign Office released a statement, refuting reports that it had attacked multiple places in India.
