India Imposes Ban on 16 Pakistani YouTube Channels for Spreading Provocative, False and Communally Sensitive Content About Pahalgam Terror Attack

The Indian government has imposed a ban on 16 Pakistani YouTube channels for spreading misinformation and provocative and communally sensitive content against India, its Army and security agencies in the backdrop of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack. The list of banned Pakistani YouTube channels includes prominent names such as Dawn News, SAMAA TV, ARY News, BOL News and Geo News among others. The Indian government has also lodged a formal complaint with the BBC in connection with a social media post and the use of the word "militants" to refer to "terrorists" in their reportage on the Pahalgam terror attack.
