Destitute couple, Sanjay & Sapna residing at Jantar Mantar are going through difficult times. The 21-days lockdown announced by PM Narendra Modi has turned life upside down for them. The couple resides on the road near Jantar Mantar in a makeshift tent and depends on daily wages. Sapna is eight months pregnant. The one kg rice they had is over and they now have nothing to eat. Sanjay broke down while sharing the health concerns of his heavily pregnant wife. Meanwhile, Delhi police distributed food packets among the needy. Agra police also distributed food packets to the poor. The 21-day lockdown as part of measures to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus has hit the unorganised sector hard. The number of cases has crossed the 700 mark in India with 17 deaths being reported.
