With people staying at home, cities, highways, roads across the nation have been deserted since PM Narendra Modi announced the 21-day lockdown. A video from Chandigarh showed a Sambar Deer crossing an empty road. They were also spotted near Haridwar in residential areas. In Kerala’s Kozhikode, a critically endangered Malabar large-spotted civet was spotted. The endangered Olive Ridley Turtles were seen on a beach in Odisha. Also, a video of an elephant strolling on the empty streets of Kerala is being widely shared on social media.
