India’s Coronavirus Cases Cross 5,000 Mark, Total Deaths At 149; Maharashtra Alone Has 1018 Cases

The number of COVID-19 cases in India has gone up to 5,194 and 149 deaths with 25 dying in the last 24 hours alone. The number of active COVID-19 cases in the country is at 4,643, and 401 people were discharged after recovering fully. Maharashtra continues to remain the state with the most number of cases at 1018, Tamil Nadu has 690, Delhi at 576, Telangana 364 and Kerala 336.
