International Plastic Bag Free Day is observed on July 3rd every year to create awareness about the dangers of using plastic. It tells the problems attached to plastic, especially in the forms of bags. The observance is to encourage the use of alternatives to plastic bags like jute, paper or cloth bags. While these eco-friendly products are present in the market, often plastic is used as it comes cheap. We bring to some alternatives which can be used instead of plastic.
