The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season has been called off indefinitely due to COVID-19 cases inside the bio-secure bubble. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took the major decision after several players, including Kolkata Night Riders spinner Varun Chakravarthy and Sunrisers Hyderabad wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha, tested positive for coronavirus.
