CryptoThe fourth floor of a building collapsed during renovation in Kalyan near Mumbai on Tuesday (May 20) afternoon. At least six people including a child died in the incident which happened at the Shri Saptashringi building. According to authorities, the slab of the fourth floor caved in during the renovation work. Rescuers saved five people who were trapped under the debris, while six people lost their lives. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed grief over the incident and announced INR 5 lakh financial assistance to each of the families of the deceased. The building will now be demolished and alternate arrangements for the families residing there will be made.
