Recently, Karnataka Health Minister B Sriramulu was seen without a mask in public. Many politicians across parties and states have not worn the mask properly. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bhagel and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi were either not wearing the masks properly or had forgotten to wear one altogether. The number of cases in India has reached 3,43,091 with 9,900 deaths. India is the fourth worst-hit nation by the pandemic after the US, Brazil and Russia.
