Kathua Rape Case Verdict: Six Declared Guilty of 8 Year Old’s Rape, One Acquitted

One year after the Kathua rape and murder case which shook India, the special court in Pathankot convicted six out of seven accused. The 8 year old victim from the Rasana village belonged to the nomadic Bakarwal community. The horrific incident made national news and led to numerous protests.
