Kerala Man Dies After Upper Berth Seat Falls on Him in Train, Railways Says ‘Improper Chaining’ Led to Accident

A 60-year-old man from Kerala died on June 24, days after he suffered neck injuries after the upper berth seat in a train coach fell on him. The Indian Railways said the improper chaining by another passenger led to the accident, dismissing the allegation that the upper berth seat was damaged.
