On May 9, at least 22 people were killed and many others were left injured when a bus they were travelling in fell from a bridge. The tragedy took place in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, the bus had 50 people on board and it fell in Dasanga village. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Rs 50,000 each will be given to those who are seriously wounded. Rs 25,000 each will be given to people with minor injuries. The medical cost of the injured will be borne by the MP government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office announced that a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each will be given to the families of the deceased. Watch the video to know more.
