He stitched a crucial 61-run partnership with Andre Russell that set a perfect platform for KKR. Andre Russell went bonkers in the last few overs and slammed an unbeaten 57 off 25 deliveries as Kolkata posted a monstrous 206-4. Jofra Archer (1/30), Yudhvir Singh (1/26), Maheesh Theekshana (1/41), and captain Riyan Parag (1/21) took wickets for RR. In response, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (34 off 21 balls) played a fighting knock. Skipper Riyan Parag played a stupendous knock of 95 off 45 deliveries, but his knock went in vain as the visitors suffered a heartbreaking one-run defeat.
