Kunal Kamra Turns Down Offer To Participate in Salman Khan-Hosted Reality Show ‘Bigg Boss’, Says ‘I Would Rather Check Into a Mental Hospital’

Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra recently disclosed on his Instagram story that he was approached to participate in the upcoming season of the popular reality show "Bigg Boss". Sharing a screenshot of a casting director's inquiry on April 08, Kamra sarcastically rejected the offer, stating he would "much rather check into a mental hospital. This development comes amidst a political storm triggered by Kamra's recent stand-up show in Maharashtra. His "Gaddar" (traitor) jibe aimed at Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, had led to legal trouble, online backlash as well as vandalism of the venue. 3  Despite the outrage and an FIR, Kamra had remained defiant, refusing to apologize and asserting his refusal to be intimidated.
