Maharashtra Finance Minister Ajit Pawar, while presenting the state budget on Monday, March 10, did not make any announcement regarding a hike in the monthly allowance under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Later, Pawar said he never promised to raise the payout from INR 1,500 to INR 2,100.
