With less than a fortnight remaining for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 to commence, LatestLY brings to you the weekly political wrap. Buzz in the electoral circles was generated this week by Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who unveiled the NYAY scheme -- a policy which promises 5 crore poor households an annual assistance of upto Rs 72,000. Meanwhile, the political discourse continued to worsen with the PM coining the SARAB (alcohol) acronym for the Opposition - SP, RLD, BSP - in Uttar Pradesh.
