Maldives Government Suspends Three Ministers Over Derogatory Remarks Against PM Narendra Modi For Lakshadweep Post

On January 7, the Maldivian government reportedly suspended three ministers for derogatory comments against PM Narendra Modi. As reported by PTI, the Indian High Commission in Male raised the issue with the foreign ministry. Former Maldivian ministers slammed the minister for the derogatory comments. The Maldivian government distanced itself from the remarks of the ministers against PM Modi. And now, reportedly ministers Maryam Shiuna, Malsha Shareef and Mahzoom Majid have been suspended. Many Indian celebrities like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, John Abraham and others took to X to urge people to ‘Explore Indian Islands’. Watch the video to know more.
