Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak hits screens on January 10. Deepika Padukone essays the role of an acid-attack survivor Malti. The story is depicted on real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The starcast includes Vikrant Massey, Marghjeet Sarghi and Ipshita Chakraborty. Meghna Gulzar says that as with Talvar, her effort with Chhapaak is to start conversations around real issues and real people.
