At Least 14 People Have Lost Their Lives & Several Have Been Displaced In Indonesia. This comes after Mount Semeru, a volcano in the Java province erupted on December 4. On December 5, Indonesia's National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) said in a statement that the eruption had wounded 56 others, with 35 people in serious condition. Nearly 1,300 people have been displaced by the eruption and reached evacuation centers. Several homes were buried to their rooftops and vehicles were fully submerged.
