Mumbai Rains: All Schools To Remain Closed On July 20 Due To Heavy Rainfall; Train Services Hit, Water-Logging Leads To Traffic Snarls

All schools in Mumbai will remain closed on July 20. On July 19, Maharashtra government announced that all schools in Mumbai and Mumbai Metropolitan Region will remain closed on July 20. The decision was taken as heavy rains lashed the financial capital of the country. All schools till Class 12 will remain shut in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg districts. BMC Commissioner IS Chahal also issued a similar order for government and private schools to remain shut on July 20. Mumbai has been put on ‘yellow’ alert for July 20. Watch the video to know more.
