National Flag Adoption Day 2020: 5 Things to Know About The Adoption of Tricolour as Flag of India

On this day - July 22 - in the year 1947, India had officially adopted the "tricolour" as the national flag. The flag has remained unchanged since then. The same flew high above all democratic institutions in the Dominion of India - between August 15, 1947 and January 26, 1950 - and the Constitutional Republic of India since then. Here are five interesting facts to know on the National Flag Adoption Day 2020.
