National Unity Day is observed annually in India on October 31. The day marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He was known as the Iron Man of India. Every year, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary is celebrated as National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
