Nirbhaya Case Convicts To Appear Before Delhi Court Today, Mother Demands Death Penalty

Asha Devi, Nirbhaya’s mother demanded hanging of all the accused as soon as possible. She said that it’s been seven years since they have been struggling with the case and now time has come when justice should be delivered. Asha Devi, Nirbhaya’s mother said, “I have appealed to the court and the government that justice be delivered as there is no remedy left. It’s been two and a half years since the Supreme Court gave its judgment. It’s been 18 months since their rebukes were also dismissed. So, I have appealed that the accused should be hanged as soon as possible. The case was going on and going in court. Everyone’s time is getting disturbed. The way a case is stretched for a long time, other cases can be tackled in that time. As they stretched the case for so long, we had to struggle for seven years. Everything should just end now.” All accused in the case will be produced before the Patiala House Court on Friday (December 13). The convicts will be produced through video conferencing due to security reasons
