Though PM Modi did not mention the names of any countries, he spoke about the need for mutual recognition of vaccine certificates. The prime minister’s statement comes amid a row over United Kingdom’s revised travel guidelines for fully vaccinated Indians. He also mentioned that the world stood with India, like a family, during the second wave of Covid-19. The prime minister said that Indian vaccine manufacturers are working hard to increase the production capacity.
