On December 14, the Punjab police gagged and dragged unemployed teachers protesting at a rally of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. CM Channi’s rally was taking place in Sangrur. Videos of the Punjab police gagging and dragging the teachers have gone viral on social media. The cops can be seen stuffing cloth inside the mouth of the protesters in order to stop them from raising slogans. The protesters were loaded in cars and buses.
