On April 3, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was granted bail in a 2019 defamation case. Gandhi’s two-year jail sentence was stayed. A Gujarat court will take up Rahul Gandhi’s appeal on April 13. Rahul Gandhi had approached Surat's sessions court with an appeal to set aside his conviction over his ‘Modi surname’ remarks. Soon after the court decision, Gandhi tweeted he is fighting against ‘Mitrakal’. He tweeted in Hindi, “In this struggle, truth is my weapon, and truth is my support.” Watch the video to know more.
