Rahul Gandhi: Jyotiraditya Scindia Forgot Ideology As He Was Worried About His Political Future

Rahul Gandhi, on March 12 spoke about Jyotiraditya Scindia leaving the Congress party and joining hands with the BJP. Rahul Gandhi said, “This is a fight of ideology, clear cut. On one side is Congress and the BJP-RSS on the other. I know Jyotiraditya Scindia's ideology, he was with me in college, I know him very well. He got worried about his political future, put his ideology in his pocket and went with the RSS. Reality is, he will not get respect there and he will not be satisfied. He will realise this. I know as I have been his friend for long. There is a difference between what he is saying and what is in his heart.” Jyotiraditya Scindia tendered his resignation to the Congress party on March 10, the day of Holi. He joined the BJP on March 11 breaking 18-year association with the Congress party.
