Railway Budget 2023: FM Nirmala Sitharaman Announces Rs 2.40 Lakh Crore Capital Outlay

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2023-24 on February 1. The Finance Minister announced a capital outlay of Rs 2.40 lakh crore for Indian Railways. This marks a rise of 65.6 per cent as compared to the last fiscal year. It is nine times higher than the railway allocation in 2013-14. Watch the video to know more.
