The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has cancelled a procession scheduled for January 17 which would have allowed devotees to catch a glimpse of the new idol of Lord Ram across Ayodhya, reported PTI. Now, the trust will arrange a tour of the new idol inside the premises of the Ram Janmabhoomi on January 17, reported PTI. The decision was taken by the officials of the trust after a meeting with the Acharyas of Kashi and senior administrative officials, reported PTI. Reportedly, the tour across the city was cancelled as it would be difficult to control the crowd. Watch the video to know more.
