Savadatti (Saundatti) Yellamma Temple flooded following heavy rainfall in the Belgaum district. The temple is situated on top of the hill in Savadatti, which is about 5kms from Savadatti Taluk and nearly 70km from Belgaum. Savadatti (Saundatti) Yellamma is an ancient temple dedicated to goddess Renuka Yellamma Devi. Yellamma Temple is a major pilgrimage centre in Karnataka, especially for the North Karnataka people.
