Sohan Lal Meghwal: Rajasthan Farmer, Left Out of Loan-Waiver Scheme, Commits Suicide

Sohan Lal Meghwal, a 45-year-old farmer from Thakri village in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district committed suicide on Sunday, 23rd June 2019. Before taking his life, Sohan Lal posted a farewell video on social media and wrote a two page note for the state CM Ashok Gehlot for not waiving bank loans. The deceased also accused Sachin Pilot for failing to address his plight.
