Southwest Monsoon To Cover Gujarat, Rajasthan From June 23 To 29, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya To See Rainfall Over The Weekend

On June 16, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that heatwave conditions have decreased across the country. Southwest monsoon has been progressing towards central and east India. Monsoon has advanced in many parts of north Arabian Sea, Gujarat, entire Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada and other areas. The IMD said, “Current spell of intense rainfall is likely to continue over Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during the next 5 days.” The southwest monsoon is likely to cover Gujarat, Rajasthan and remaining parts of central India and many parts of northwest India between June 23 and June 29. IMD said that Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya will witness rainfall over the weekend. Watch the video to know more.
