According to FlixPatrol (OTT ranking website), the Hwang Dong-hyuk-directed dystopian thriller series has become the number one show on Netflix in 93 countries where the streaming platform is available. It’s the first time that such a milestone was created. All seven episodes of Squid Game 2 premiered on Netflix on the same day, and as of December 31, it is the top TV show across 93 countries, including the US, UK and India.
