Taliban Reportedly Demolishes Iconic Ghazni Gate In Afghanistan

Reportedly, the Taliban have demolished the iconic Ghazni Gate in Afghanistan. Videos which have gone viral, show the Ghazni Gate being brought down with the help of a crane. This gate was a symbol of Islamic tradition and culture. This gate was built to commemorate the founding of the Islamic Empire. Taliban had seized the strategic Afghan city of Ghazni on August 12. Ghazni is just 150 kilometres (95 miles) from Kabul. The Taliban took control over Afghanistan on August 15. Since then, Afghan people have been trying to get out of the country. Many nations have been flying their citizens out of the country. Meanwhile, the World Bank has suspended aid to Afghanistan, saying it is "deeply concerned" by the situation there. Watch the video to know more.
