Five soldiers lost their lives and one was left seriously injured in a terrorist attack in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri on April 20. The incident took place around 3 pm when the military vehicle was fired upon by the terrorists. The tragedy took place near the Bhimber Gali area. The vehicle caught fire likely due to a grenade attack, the Army said. Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh tweeted, “In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families.” A massive search operation has been initiated to nab the terrorists.
