Tomatoes Are Being Sold at Rs 250 per KG in Gangotri Dham. The Red Vegetable Costs Rs 180 to 200 per KG in Uttarkashi District in Uttarakhand. A Vegetable Vendor Told Ani That Tomatoes Have Become Costly in the Region All of a Sudden. In Chennai, the Vegetable Is Being Sold Between Rs 100-130 per KG. The Tamil Nadu Government Has Started Selling Tomatoes at a Subsidised Rate of Rs 60 per KG at Ration Shops in Chennai. In Bengaluru, Tomatoes Are Being Sold Between Rs 101 to 121 per Kilogram.
