In a tragic incident, many vehicles including semitrailers were involved in a severe crash in heavy fog on Interstate 5 in Oregon, US. One person was killed in the tragedy. Nearly 60 vehicles, including about 20 semitrailers, were involved in the crash, reported PTI. As reported by PTI, the tragedy spanned more than a mile and led to the closure of that part of the interstate. Reportedly, school buses were used to ferry stranded motorists from Eugene to a nearby truck stop. Reports suggest that authorities believe that fog was the reason behind the tragedy.
