Volodymyr Zelensky Tells US House, ‘Your Aid Not Charity, But Investment’ On His First Foreign Trip Since Russia’s Invasion

On December 21, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the US Congress that the financial aid it had provided to help it fight Russia was not charity, but an investment. This was Zelensky’s first visit out of Ukraine since the war began. Zelensky said, “Your money is not charity. It is an investment in global security and democracy.” He was dressed in the khaki fatigues that have been his public uniform throughout the 300 days of the war. Watch the video to know more.
